The Living Lens Project promotes cross-grade level, inter-disciplinary projects that explore connections between art and science and and serve community needs.

Based on a Project Based Learning model, it engages students in addressing authentic issues in real world settings through partnerships with area organizations and businesses.

These partners have a need for products or services that can be fulfilled by our students as they develop curricular knowledge and 21st century skills in multiple disciplines.

This is a unique opportunity for students to interface with professionals and create work that makes a difference and has a life outside the classroom.
